Pitney Bowes MapInfo Donates Location Intelligence Solution to University of Guelph

Troy, NY - Pitney Bowes MapInfo, the leading global provider of location intelligence, today announced that it has donated its TargetPro® software solution to the University of Guelph for use in the student library. TargetPro will enable students to perform in-depth demographic, statistical and mapping analysis for research, marketing and business development projects.

The donated location intelligence software offers a toolbox of analysis capabilities, including comprehensive geo-demographic data and complete mapping functionality. TargetPro includes a collection of MapInfo® demographics, developed by the MapInfo team of demographers, statisticians and geographers. This data includes basic demographics, such as current year estimates on population, households and race to a more diversified set of current year estimates and 5 year projections, including financial wealth, consumer expenditures and income levels. Organizations in many industries use TargetPro to make more informed decisions about marketing, sales, competition and market growth.
