Goldsboro, NC – Geographic Technologies Group, Inc. (GTG), a leading GIS solutions provider, will be
featured in the June issue of GeoWorld magazine. The article will spotlight GTG’s new enterprise
software suite, GeoBlade.
GeoWorld sent writer Brian Culpepper to GTG in early April to analyze the software. He received handson
experience with the toolset, realizing its ease-of-use and user friendly functionality. GeoBlade’s easyto-
use, convenient features allow every local government professional to utilize the technology.
GeoBlade contains a core viewer, which serves as the backbone of the toolset. Additional plug-ins,
called “blades,” may be added onto the core viewer. Each department specific blade is designed to
satisfy the needs of each department.
“GeoBlade makes utilizing GIS simple and allows even non-technical local government departments to
make the most of the technology,” said Curt Hinton, CEO of GTG. “GeoBlade offers a clear return on
investment, saving time and money for all users, as well as improving communication with the
community.”
