Boulder, CO - Spatial Energy, the leading Imagery and Data Management solution provider in the energy sector, today announced an agreement with EastView Cartographic to sell Energy focused global datasets through Spatial on Demand. The data sets include a broad range of geospatial raster and vector data from geological maps, high-resolution DEMs and vector GIS datasets.
"East View Cartographic specializes in custom GIS data production using data from a variety of in-house and client sources. Spatial Energy's customers will now be able to source and manage this data cost effectively through our Spatial On-Demand service," said Bud Pope, President of Spatial Energy. "Together, we'll be helping clients find and manage the right mapping and GIS data production resources for each project."
Spatial Energy customers will access these products through Spatial On-Demand, the industry leading data management and delivery system. Spatial On-Demand provides rapid discovery of large global data sets and the secure hosting of customer proprietary data. Subscribers can access data sets through streaming web services or by download.
Kent D. Lee, CEO of East View Cartographic believes combining imagery and cartographic materials will make a difference. "This partnership will serve upstream and downstream oil and gas clients by augmenting the best satellite imagery product with other source materials important for understanding the topography and geology of areas of interest all over the mapped world. Because East View specializes in materials from outside the US, the Spatial Energy users will find richness in our products that may surprise them."
