Printer Friendly versionPrinter Friendly

NOAA’s Digital Coast provides access to lidar data contributed by many different local, state, and federal agencies. Twenty-one new lidar data sets were recently added and include areas in Oregon, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, North Carolina, and Maryland.  U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Post Hurricane Sandy lidar for the coasts of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and New York are also available. These recent additions bring the lidar data holdings to over one trillion points available for customized download at no charge. The Digital Coast, which was developed by the NOAA Coastal Services Center, also provides additional coastal data sets and related tools and training.

Download lidar data at www.csc.noaa.gov/lidar and visit the Digital Coast at www.csc.noaa.gov/digitalcoast.
