Joseph J. Kerski, Ph.D. - Joseph serves as a geographer in the national mapping program of the USGS in Denver, Colorado, USA. He holds a Ph.D. in geography from the University of Colorado with an emphasis on GIS and geography education. As educational outreach geographer, he conducts approximately 40 workshops each year on the application of geospatial data, including several workshops on GIS for educators from primary to university level.
