DRG Clip -- Convert Process

Once the DRG Clipper 2.0 ArcView Extension has been activated the DRG Clip program is ready to use. The DRG Clip Convert Process is started by adding all of the unclipped 24K DRG files the user wishes to clip into ArcView as image Themes. Once all of the unclipped 24K DRG Files are added into ArcView as Image Themes, the files can be clipped using the instructions outlined in the examples shown below:

Adding 24K DRG (Image) Files as Theme(s) into ArcView

The user must add one or more 24K DRG files into ArcView using the Add Theme Button shown below.

Once the user adds one or more unclipped 24K DRG Theme into ArcView the display should be similar to the example shown below.

The DRG Clipper Button

This button will be located next to the ArcView Help Button once the DRG Clip Extension program is activated within ArcView. Select the DRG Clipper Button to initiate the clip process for the current 24K DRG files added within ArcView as Themes.

The selection of the DRG Clipper Button will prompt the user to identify the current DATUM of the active 24K DRG files.
