- Get your back office person to setup email forwarding for you. Establish a free Yahoo or hotmail account to receive your email while you are away.
The conference has numerous computer terminals available for you to use to retrieve your email.
- Setup an "auto reply" for your email to remind clients you are away - note, auto reply messages will irritate recipients on email lists so I suggest you unsubscribe from lists while away.
- If you are registered to email discussion lists (ArcViewList, GISLis etc...) remove yourself while you are away.
These messages will only clog up your mail box during your week away.
- There's an excellent Kinkos next to Horton Plaza - open late! (just ask someone)
- Make sure you have a hotel booked or else you will likely be out of luck!
- Help make the show even better.
Take the pre-conference survey
- It will be important that attendees wear their name badges at all
