New for 2001! The Mobile Pavilion - In recognition of the importance of mobile technologies, GITA has planned a mobile pavilion. The pavilion is expected to be an information source for the most up-to-date hardware, software, and services focused on emerging mobile technologies. Participants will include providers of mobile hardware, software, and applications to utilities, government agencies, and other types of organizations that perform field-based operations. Look for hands on seminars, panel discussions, and live demonstrations.

New for 2001! Spanish solutions Track - Designed for Spanish speaking professionals, content from this track is targeted at individuals interested in tthe application of geospatial IT and how it is applied both in the US and abroad. Rather than translating the material into English, GITA will provide conference attendees with leading-edge information in their native language. The Spanish track reinforces GITA's commitment to excellence in the education and exchange of information related to geospatial technologies around the world.

ExecuNet 2001 - This year, the ExecuNet Forum will be co-located with the GITA conference. This event is targeted at executives.
