BARRY WOLFIELD, FORMER RAZORFISH EXECUTIVE, JOINS SYNCLINE AS CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

-Wolfield Brings Extensive Start-up Experience-

BOSTON, Mass.-June 4, 2001-Syncline, Inc., which provides Web-based mapping solutions, today announced that Barry Wolfield, former vice president for Razorfish, has joined Syncline as chief operating officer. In this role, Wolfield will be responsible for guiding and executing Syncline's market strategy.

"Barry will be an important asset as we increasingly focus on the marketing and selling of our products and services," said Matthew M. Gentile, CEO and president of Syncline. "His deep experience bringing early-stage companies to maturity will be extremely valuable to us."

"I'm very excited to be jumping into this fast-growing market with a company that I consider to be the best in the space," said Wolfield. "Feedback from our customers is showing that, by letting them see and analyze their data in the context of a map, we are improving both their business efficiency and their competitive advantage."

Wolfield brings to Syncline more than 18 years of industry experience in the information technology field. During his career at Razorfish, he served as vice president of startups, as well as vice president of global alliances and new ventures. Before joining Razorfish, Wolfield created and led Accenture's Northeast Internet Center of Excellence, a business unit focused on defining and executing the company's entry into electronic business consulting services. Prior to consulting, Wolfield spent 10 years developing products and services within the technology industry.

Wolfield serves on the Board of Advisors for both Revenio, Inc., a customer-relationship-management product company, and Nexus Global Partners, a global venture-capital organization.
