KALISPELL, Mont., June 11, 2001--Earth Search Sciences, Inc. (OTCBB:EDIS - news) announced today that it has hired John Sciuto as President of ESSI.

Earth Search has selected John Sciuto as President based on his proven track record in executive positions at other technology companies. ``Sciuto was formerly President and Chief Executive Officer of Comptek Research, Inc. from 1996 to 2000 when Comptek was acquired by Northrop Grumman in August, 2000. Under his leadership, Comptek tripled sales in four years, completed four successful and accretive acquisitions, tripled sales from $50million to $150 million and grew in size from a company of 600 employees to a company of 1400 employees.

During this same period Comptek's stock price increased from less than $5.00 per share to $21.00 per share, resulting in a market valuation that increased by 800% from $25 million to more than $200 million.``

``Earth Search is ready for an executive with John Sciuto's professionalism and history as a proven leader,'' said Larry Vance, chairman of Earth Search Sciences, Inc. ``We are very pleased to have him aboard and are very fortunate to be able to attract an executive of his quality. We are looking forward to working with him.''

ESSI has developed its remote sensing technology into several independent applications such as hydrocarbon exploration, mineral exploration, environmental monitoring and online data archiving. Each of these applications is poised to grow into a thriving business. Petro Probe, Inc. has participated in a producing gas well and anticipates further successes in the near future. Eco Probe, Inc. is currently flying over several areas of the United States collecting data for environmental monitoring purposes. The data archive has been inputting imagery and is close to making its products available to the world online.

``Earth Search Sciences, Inc. has been instrumental in advancing 'REMOTE SENSING' technology to its highest level,'' said Sciuto. ``Now its simply a matter of maximizing the value of this potential for the benefit of the Company's shareholders, customers and employees.''
